How much would an Octopus subscription for 18 users cost?
$920 monthly: 10 users at $60/month + 8 users at $40/month.
Are there any other fees?
No. The subscription price includes updates and technical support should you have any problems.
Does each user need a license?
Yes. We used a “named license” approach.
Are there fees associated with implementing Octopus?
Yes. Although Octopus is fully operational from the first day, we recommend you take administrator and user training, as a minimum. If your department is made up of several people, we strongly recommend guidance by an Octopus specialist. You will benefit from the advice of experts who have successfully completed hundreds of implementations. Click here to find out more about our integration services.
How does the subscription work if another department wants to use Octopus to manage its requests?
Here is an example. You have 10 user licenses in the IT Department, and you want to add five users for the Material Resources Department. The cost for this new team would be $200 monthly: 5 x $40/month. The more users you add, the lower your subscription rate per user. This advantageous pricing allows use of Octopus in all departments that need to manage requests or inventory. Click here to find out more about our solutions.
Is it possible to buy licenses?
No. Octopus is offered solely on a subscription basis. Our aim is to provide you with a service, not to sell you licenses. As a service provider, our job is to constantly improve our offer. Each day, we look for ways to make your life easier and to ensure Octopus is the extra pair of hands you need.
Can I install Octopus on my own servers?
Yes. An initial installation fee of $1,000 applies as well as a fee of $100 monthly for the extra support required with a local installation. Subscription rates remain unchanged.
